There are many different key concepts in these videos. Starting with the Glass and Ceramics video, it is so interesting seeing how both are made. I think the making of the glass is so amazing how it works. Watching and seeing the different techniques and different glass and ceramics. Glass is used for so many things including architecture and is so detailed in the making. Glass can even save money. In the video it talks about how some buildings are made with double glass to block out sound.
In the sculpture video, there is such a long process to make and finish these sculptures. So much time, patience, and effort. There are so many details the artist needs to work with. It's just interesting to watch a creation actually come to life after so many trials and patience.
The text, and the sculpting video both talk about the process of the carving. Both talk about bringing art into sculpture form and the time and steps it takes to get it.
The Glass video and the text relate because they both mention how and what they are both made of.
I think the videos gave me a better understanding of the process of glass and ceramic making, and also sculpting. Sculpting takes so much time and has a long process of many different versions of art. Glass and ceramics have a very distinct process and are both time consuming and can create many different things using these materials. These types of arts take a lot longer and depth than I originally thought
